AI-assisted SEND support
Free AI SEND Support for Parents in the UK
AI SEND support for parents and carers who are trying to understand SEND, prepare questions or organise written information. Start with the task in front of you and keep control of every decision.
AI can make mistakes. These digital assistants provide general information and drafting support. They are not a solicitor, medical professional, educational psychologist or personalised human advocate. Check important information and decide for yourself what to use or send.
What is Free Simplified Support?
Free Simplified Support is an AI-assisted SEND information and drafting service for UK parents and carers. Its focused digital assistants and practical tools can help you understand terminology, organise what has happened, prepare questions, review wording and create a starting draft. It does not make decisions for you or replace a qualified professional or personalised advocate.
What can the digital assistants help with?
If you are looking for AI help for parents of children with SEND, the assistants provide general information and drafting support. They can help you organise information, understand SEND and EHCP processes, prepare questions and draft wording that you then check and adapt yourself.
- Explain SEND and EHCP terminology in plain English
- Organise facts, dates, questions and evidence
- Prepare for meetings and annual reviews
- Review whether EHCP wording is clear and specific
- Turn rough notes into a calm starting draft
- Explore barriers linked to EBSA and school attendance
How can the EHCP Navigator help?
The EHCP Navigator helps you understand EHCP content and processes — what each section of a plan is for, what the process stages involve, and the questions you may want to ask. It provides general information to help you feel prepared; it does not review your child's actual plan or decide what a local authority should do.
How can the Appeals Support assistant help?
For parents looking for AI EHCP appeal support, the Appeals Support assistant can help you organise the practical side of an EHCP appeal or SEND Tribunal matter: identifying the issues in dispute, organising evidence, keeping track of deadlines from your own decision letter, creating a chronology and preparing questions. It does not provide legal advice or Tribunal representation, and it cannot guarantee any outcome.
How can the EBSA assistant help?
The EBSA Specialist helps parents organise information about school distress and attendance difficulties — recording patterns, barriers and triggers, and preparing what to raise with the school. It offers a calm, blame-free way to structure your thinking; it is not a clinical, safeguarding or crisis service.
Which SEND issues can parents explore?
The assistants cover the EHCP process and Sections A–K, annual reviews, evidence, special educational provision, appeals preparation, reasonable adjustments, school communication, EOTAS information, EBSA, transitions and a child or young person’s voice. Information about law and statutory processes generally concerns England unless clearly stated otherwise.
What the assistants do not do
- They do not provide legal, medical, clinical or crisis advice
- They are not solicitors, medical professionals or educational psychologists
- They do not replace a qualified professional or personalised human advocate
- They do not make decisions for you or guarantee any outcome
- AI can make mistakes — always check important information before relying on it
What is included in the free trial?
The digital assistants have a 3-day free trial with up to 20 assistant replies shared across all assistants. You create an account and add a payment method, but you are not charged during the trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. The practical tools are included in the same plan.
What happens after the free period?
Unless you cancel, the plan becomes £5.99 per month after the 3-day trial. It includes up to 300 assistant replies each month, with no rollover and no extra usage charge. Access pauses when the allowance is used and resumes at the next allowance period. You can cancel from your account without contacting support.
When should a parent seek personalised professional help?
Use personalised help where your situation depends on documents the assistant has not seen, a decision or deadline may affect appeal rights, evidence is disputed, or you need someone to take responsibility for legal, medical, psychological or safeguarding advice. In an emergency or immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or safeguarding service rather than an AI assistant.

Use the tools safely
Leave out names, addresses, school names, dates of birth, case numbers and other identifying details. Review every answer or draft, check important facts against current official information, and personalise it before using it.
